My name is Ante and I'm just another person that got affected by the pandemic. Back in the old days before the shitshow went down I worked as a bartender and was happy with what I was doing, always enthusiastic about my job.
I was very stubborn when people would tell me that hospitality is not a career path to pursue on the long run, I wasn't having none of it, I knew what I wanted and I was happy to be a bartender well into my sixties.
Just as my stubbornness started to pay off the pandemic came through and turned my life upside down.
I have to admit that people were right, for the wrong reasons to be honest but nevertheless they were right. Never in my wildest thoughts could I imagine that my job would be basically outlawed till further notice.
I'm not a person who would ask for help but I guess it's time to start thinking outside of the box, so here it goes.
Trying to raise funds to educate myself as a web developer frontend and backend. 25000e would be used on buying a decent PC, pay for online courses and generally put food in my mouth and pay my rent and other running costs (electricity, internet …). That amount of money would give me a piece of mind for well over a year. The year in which I would learn new skills, build a portfolio of my work and find a decent job and a new meaning in life.
I do pledge to give all the money back to other crowdfunding causes as soon as I start earning it, I'm not yet sure how I would prove my intentions but where there is will there is a way.Thank you for taking time to read and consider my situation.
