Help me fund my education at Columbia Journalism School

Aspiring, ambitious (and broke!) graduate student needs funds to pay for graduate education!

I am an enrolled student at Columbia Graduate School of Journalism Class of 2014, and a partial scholarship student from London, UK. Being a journalist and writing about all things that matter, from the fundraising punch to repair a small community church roof to elections across the world, social issues and writing have always been my dream. Unfortunately, as a deferred student, my dream may run out in the new couple of weeks. Help please?

Tuition fees including maintenance, room and board equal $81,422. I received a scholarship of $9110, so this leaves around $72000/£50000. This covers everything from flight to books to rent, bills and food.

My youtube channel www.youtube.com/mcflysgirl will be hosting thank you videos for each and EVERY single person, family, organisation or charity which helps me achieve my goal, whether I get to go in the end or not.

 

Journalism isn't something I decided on overnight. I have been working on youth publications since I was 16 (thats 7.5 years now), I have produced my own radio show as well as presented it, I've edited the university newspaper and I run a blog at www.theromcomdiaries.wordpress.com.
