Help Me Finish My Education

Hello! My name is Sonto Mbokazi. I am a 21 year old female from South Africa and I am currently headed towards my final year in Computer Science at the University of Cape Town in South Africa. It was not that easy to set this account up but the situation forced me to do so, because I had no other option left and the only hope I’m left with is you who is reading this.

A few years ago my dad who was paying my fees and who was also the bread winner of the family lost his job from the company that he was working for. Despite this, I thank my parents for having managed to get me through my first and second years of university but last year things became a little more difficult. In July 2017, my father who had been responsible for my education was diagnosed with rare Syndrome which caused him to be paralysed one side of his body. He is recovering but the time for him to be able to walk or move his arms it may take up to a year.
Our family's situation has left us in a debt of $4000 from my third year and I need an extra $1000 to register for my final year. Unfortunately the potential donors that I had to sponsor my schooling had to pull out due to other financial commitments. This has now given me only 2 weeks to raise the money that is needed for me to go back to school and finish my final year.

I love my university, my friends and my teachers there and everything that I’ve learnt there. Besides the devastation it will bring, transferring universities would mean added years and added expenses. I work hard academically and have maintained an average of above 60% in order to make my parents proud. They would do anything for my education and it pains them that they are unable to right now. I want to be able to finish my degree and help them support my 2 younger siblings, Joanne and Vilakazi who are 15 and 9 years old respectively.

In the meantime, I am also fighting for bursaries and scholarships but I cannot do so without my results which will only be released once my debt is paid. Some bursaries have been hard to come by as an international student so we would appreciate any help we can get.
If you would like to loan us money (which we would gladly pay as soon as we can) or pay directly to the university. Please help me finish this one year and atleast have a bright future so that I can also help those in need. Just one more year!
