A father’s plea

Thank you for taking the time to look at this request.

I am a father to a 7-year-old little girl, and I am reaching out to ask in the assistance of gaining additional visitation with my child, or if possible, guardianship or her. It is unfortunate to say but a third party has become involved trying to limit my contact due to his own possessiveness and jealousy around the child's mother. It is going onto three years now and his involvement in this has forced me to seek legal advice – something I have tried to avoid at all costs. This has caused the individual to become even more aggressive and assaulted me, even though he wanted lawyers involved from the beginning.

Due to this individual and his actions, as well as the route I have been forced to take, the child’s mother has acted in a spiteful manner causing even more issues, as I refuse to back down from the charges laid against him and that I also refuse to have my child used as a bargaining chip for his benefit. The fact that she allows this individual to act in such a manner and that she has tried to use my daughter as a bargaining chip for his benefit, puts me in fear of the well-being for her and what is best for her.

I know that in this world it may seem that I am a father just trying to be spiteful in return, but my only intention is to be a father to my child. I have the evidence and can provide proof (if so requested) that my actions have been above the line, and that I am in this situation due to no other alternative.

I am self employed, and the Covid pandemic has placed me in dire situation financially. I ask that you please assist me in this endeavor, not due to spite but due to concern regarding my child. Any donation you make would be greatly appreciated.
