Help Me Complete My Application to Volunteer Abroad

I am a journalism student with a keen interest in making the world a better place, like every journalist should. With that in mind, I decided to sign up to ICS - this allows young people to go to less fortunate countries to volunteer and support people in ways they've never had support before. At the beginning of the month, I was told I'd been accepted onto the applicants role.

Being in a working class family who couldn't necessarily fund luxuries (holidays abroad, etc), I am yet to have my own passport (yes, I'm going abroad for 10 weeks for the first time on my own!) This is why I am appealing to you.

I need your help in funding for my passport and travel so I can volunteer to hopefully make a change in somebody else's life. I am extremely grateful for ANYTHING you may be able to spare.
