Help Me Celebrate Mamma Tina

On April 21, 2013, my Mom will turn 99 and be heading towards her 3-digit-birthday in 2014. She lives in Rome in a small rental apartment and I live in the USA. Last year I lost my older brother and now I am her only family member. My Mom is a great mom!

Unfortunately, none of us can live forever and one day also my Mom will receive the call. During all the 15 years since I left to relocate to the USA with my American wife, I managed to visit my Mom twice a year but recently our economic situation started to resent. 

I wish my Mom to live for another 100 years and I am planning to do something special for her for each of her birthdays to come. So I came out with a plan that I hope to realize with some of your help.

I will deposit whatever I collect into an account in Italy to make sure she gets a nice cake at each birthday and buy me a flight tickets for her 100th birthday in April 2014! The ‘final’ balance I will use to help me pay for the day when she gets the call. If any founds will still be available I will give it to one of the cases of my choice on IndieGoGo.

I would also like to invite everybody to send a birthday card to my Mom from wherever you live in the world every April 21^st and in your own language. I want her to feel that she is not alone. Her address is:
