Help me become a Java Programmer

Hi,

Thank you for looking at my invitation. I live in South Africa and would like to become a Java Programmer, but the certification fees from Oracle are US$250 per certificate and I am planning to do 2 certifications plus full time training which costs around US$1,000.

With the current exchange rate $1,000 works out to about ZAR15,000 which is the monthly salary of a school teacher. Being unemployed, this amount is beyond my means. I have already started taking several online Java courses for free and aced them however this is not sufficient to secure me a job in the growing and competitive IT industry in South Africa.
