Help Me Achieve My Career Goals

Hello everyone, my name is Simone Pearson. I am a 21 year old University student making my way to my dream. As flippant as that sounds it is completely true. Ever since I was a child I dreamed of being a successful graphic designer running my own business. I aim to achieve this and will stop at nothing to get there but unfortunately, at this moment it is not something I can do by myself.

I am incredibly lucky to be in University, especially in a country where many are not afforded such an opportunity. However, it is still very hard on my family financially which is why I am here. With recent issues with Universities closing down in South Africa for the rest of the academic year, my situation has become more dire. For my degree (as well for the work I do to cover my expenses), I need access to equipment that is quite pricey. This is equipment (Apple Mac, Adobe Suite, Wacom tablet) I do not have, nor do I have access to now that Universities have closed. This poses a huge problem as I have no means to complete my work for my portfolio, as well as make money. Which is why I am here, to ask a huge favor.

I know the goal I set might seem steep, but it is not without reason. Even if I manage to raise a fraction of the goal I set I would be incredibly grateful. Any donation would mean the world to me, as it would help me be able to afford what I need. Thank you so much in advance!
