Help me a little longer to spend time with family.

Hi Everyone,

My name is Winnie Wan. I was diagnosed with advanced breast cancer in 2018 and bravely endured my first breast cancer treatment. After undergoing 80 rounds of targeted therapy and 6 rounds of chemotherapy my condition stabilized. However, my husband was unfortunately diagnosed with colon cancer end of last year. At the time of this May, I felt dizzy and underwent a detailed examination, my HER2 breast cancer had relapsed and the cancer cells had relapsed and spread to my brain, bone, liver & lung.

The dual-targeted drugs used in this treatment were found to be resistant, and were unable to effectively attack the cancer cells. It needs to switch to anti-HER2 targeted therapy, which is very expensive and require self-payment. Each payment costs nearly HK$50,000 and needs to be administered every three weeks in order to prolong my life. Over the years, my family has exhausted all efforts and resources. Faced with both parents suffering from cancer and without any support, my family is appealing to the public for help and support my final battle. Thank you, may god bless you all.

2018 年確診未期乳癌，頑強地挺過第一次乳癌治療，她經歷了80次標靶藥治療，6次化療，病情轉趨穩定之際，詎料丈夫罹患大腸癌同時，其癌症指數一直維持正常水平，似乎「完全康復」。卻在2023年5月，她感到頭暈失平行而進行詳細檢查，卻不幸證實是 HER2 乳癌復發，癌細胞更擴散至腦及身體其他部位。

由於今次治療採用的雙標靶藥有抗藥性，未能有效地擊退癌細胞，需轉用抗 HER2 標靶藥物。惟抗 HER2 標靶藥物需自費，每三周打一次針續命，每次費用接近5萬元。多年來，家人耗盡心血，家財卻換來再一次噩耗。面對雙親相繼患癌，在沒有任何支援下，家人懇求各界協助，請加以援手。讓辛苦了大半生，被患疾纏身仍沒有半點放棄的老人家與她作最後抗戰. Thank you.
