Help max with surgery

Max is a 5 year old dachshund we adopted from GetALong Dachshund Rescue in March 2018. He became ill on Thursday 2/2 and we brought him to the vet. They gave him fluid and nausea medicine. He seemed to be doing better Friday but Saturday 2/4 took a turn for the worse. He was continually and uncontrollably vomiting, we took him to the Emergency Vet who said they could not tell at that point if there was a blockage. They wanted to keep him overnight for fluids and observation. In the middle of the night they contacted us saying he was declining and would need surgery, they now suspect a blockage. We have been able to raise half the money through donations and we were given 2 short term loans which MUST be repaid for the balance.
