Help Madagascar Fight Hunger

I am creating this campaign on behalf of my daughthers, 3 & 6, who eagerly want to help children in Madagascar dying because of hunger and drought. Part of their education, I wanted them to understand that wasting food was not good and hence they got to know about Madagascar and its situation. Since, they have been suggesting ideas during each diner time on how to help the country by making water playgrounds for children to play, drink and bath at the same time or asking me to become richer so that we can install faucets everywhere etc.. This has become their routine. The other day, the 3 years old took her suitcase and told me that she put a lot of food and snacks in it and was going to take 4 flights from Singapore to arrive in Madagascar and share that with the kids there.

While being amazed by their imagination and how much they were concerned about children not being able to eat or drink as much as they want, I decided to search for organizations that would help provide our donations. Unfortunately, I wasn't convinced by any of them as i felt that somehow, it wouldn't arrive to destination or at least, not the full donation. So, I remembered of my childhood friend, Felana from Madagascar, who currently lives in the country. When i told her about my story and how I'd like to help, she kindly offered her help by letting me know that she could travel to the south of the country especially to Tsiombe (most affected village) to bring rice, sugar, milk and oil to families that really need these.

With 40$ USD, a family of 7-10 pax can survive for a month. See below the breakdown for the price:

- 50 KG Rice Bag: 29$

- 1L Oil: 3$

- 1KG Sugar: 1$

- Condensed Milk Pack: 3$

- 6 Bottles of Water (1.5L): 4$

I would like to make a change today and tell my daughters that even at a young age we can make a difference and help 7 to 10 people who really need it with 40$. Would you care to join?
