My name is Lou, and I am currently enrolled on the one-year Graduate Diploma in Mathematics programme at King's College London, United Kingdom. By successfully completing the programme I will be able to enrol on the MSc programme in Mathematics. It has been my dream to study mathematics at a postgraduate level, which would also allow me to continue later on to a PhD programme and to do research in the field. However, as the graduate diploma is self-funded, and I am not eligible for neither government funding nor for any scholarships or grants, I am not able to afford the tuition fees, which amount to £6,750. Unfortunately, I don't have any savings or anyone to help me financially, including my family and friends. As the diploma is my only chance and route to the master's in mathematics and as I am really passionate about studying mathematics and feel inspired by it, I am only left with the choice of seeking the help of good people on this crowdfunding website. I hope that you would be able understand how important it is for me to raise the funds needed for my tuition fees so that I can continue my education and avoid having to withdraw from the programme, which would leave me in a dead end. I also realise that there are many fundraisers on here looking to raise money for more important causes, such as caring for homeless children or someone needing money for an operation. I hope that you could still be able to contribute to my fundraiser with some amount no matter how small it is.

Thank you very much for your help and contribution.
