Help Logan to Hear

Logan was born with a condition called Microtia & Atresia

Microtia is a congenital deformity where the external ear is underdeveloped. Atresia is the lack of an ear canal.

Logan has Microtia (Grade 3) and Atresia on his right hand side ear. This means that he has no ear or canal and is limited to hearing out of his left ear only.

This effects his directional hearing and he also gets overwhelmed in large and noisy areas.

He is currently 4 and will be going to school shortly. As a mom I want to offer him all possible learning opportunity and to achieve this we will need to have a special operation to implant a specific hearing aid device. Reconstruction of the outer ear will also be looked into at a later age.
