Help Lex Get Home

Tragically, Lex Cowan's father passed away unexpectedly on May 30th, 2021. Rob was a kind and loving father and husband who had a sincere warm heartedness, dry and jovial humor, and the patience to try to explain cricket to an American. He welcomed me personally into his home with open arms and went above and beyond to make me feel like family, never failing to remember my birthday from 10,000km away and even ordering my father's book of art from the States.

Currently, because of Covid-19 restrictions, the cost of Lex returning home to South Africa from Thailand is extremely pricey because of the health checks, insurance requirements, and the 2 weeks of mandated state quarantine you must face in order to make the journey.

We have created this fundraising campaign to help get Lex back home to his family and to show him our love and support during this impossibly difficult time. The burden of losing a loved one is immense and anything you are able to spare would help to ease a bit of this weight off of Lex's shoulders.
