Help Kyle get better studio gear

Kyle Tweedie (also known as Heartsworth) is a 19 year old South African from Gauteng, Pretoria.

Kyle has been interested in music since 2011 while he was in his 2^nd year of high school. He struggled with people and school and later dropped out in grade 10 to pursue his dream of being a musician. He loved music and wanted to share it with the world and express his emotions. He had depression issues and anger management issues and music was the only escape.

Kyle had no formal music training and could not play any instruments when he first began. Over the years he taught himself how to play the piano. He could not afford the best equipment and could not pay anyone for graphic design so he made due with the equipment he had and taught himself how to create artwork and graphic videos for his music, sadly the internet in South Africa was not fast enough to upload graphic videos constantly.

Kyle used money that was meant for his college to buy mid-range equipment but also to visit his girlfriend (now wife) in Croatia and bring her to South Africa, then go back to Croatia and then back to South Africa. He met her over Facebook after working with her ex in music. When she and her ex broke up, Kyle wanted to make sure she was fine. In the end they fell in love. This all happened in 2014. They skyped everyday till one day in 2015, where he decided to visit her. On 12 March 2016 they got married. Kyle then struggled with a money crisis. Both Sandra and Kyle are only 19.

Music helped Kyle through many situations and Sandra supports him fully. Money has always been an issue for buying good equipment and paying for music software. Recently he discovered he has another talent which is singing. He used a mic he uses for skype only to be told the quality of the mic is not good enough and the frequencies that it picks up can’t be cut without damaging the vocal audio file.

After asking his parents for help to buy better recording gear they turned him down and also exclaimed how the music industry is more a hobby than a career. Kyle was heartbroken to hear that after all these years of hard work and dedication that they still did not fully support his decisions. Luckily friends, fans and his wife support him.

Kyle started under the alias Heartsworth in 2015. He has been practicing his craft and would like to take it to the next level with his own vocals in his productions. In 2017 he hopes to start sending many demos to labels and hopes to make his dreams come true.

The $6000 will go towards getting a Studio Microphone, Audio Interface, Music software and anything music related. Any money earned from this fund raiser will not be used on anything but starting up his music career in 2017.
