Campaign Story
Current Status: Hospitalised at VES Hospital
Stray cat "Kitty Bear Bear" was found vomiting, wobbling and collapsing repeatedly. Someone had fed it bacon and eggs...
The cat caregiver (who feeds him everyday actual cat food) quickly brought Kitty Bearbear to Tampines Animal Ark when she noticed bacon and eggs in his vomit. His blood results were really really bad (High creatinine values) and the vet told the cat feeder he doesnt have much days left and suggested Kitty Bear Bear to be brought to a Vet with overnight care.
The random person feeding Kitty Bearbear obviously didn't know the bacon would be that horrendously bad for him that it could trigger acute pancreatitis (This inflammation is known to be really painful + nauseous). Kitty Bear Bear had already existing Stage 3 Chronic Kidney Disease.
The cat feeder brought to VES Hospital to stabilize him. He was stabilised and treated with anti-vomiting/nausea medications, antibiotics, fluid therapy.
We are appealing for funds as we are cost constrained and unable to place him for hospitalization for a period of time.
At Tampines Animal Ark, there were no stray cat rates and the bill is already at $404.
His previous 2 vet bills at Island Vet Bedok for his kidney problem were already $431.36.
**In VES hospital**
1. Pain relief
2. Gastrointestinal medications (To prevent vomiting and nausea)
3. Fluid therapy (To manage the chronic kidney disease and pancreatitis)
4. Antibiotics
5. Warmth and love from the nurses and vets <3
With your help, we would be able to place Kitty Bear Bear in the vet hospital longer to ease his suffering and pain with the pancreatitis. Moreover, we would be able to help manage the Chronic kidney disease with hospitalization (which have unfortunately advanced to Stage 4 Chronic Kidney Disease)

**Bear Bear life in the streets**
Once upon the chunky stray cat boy sleeping almost everywhere blocking everyone's path (This is constant sleeping position while passerbys and kids will always try to disturb him
Fight fight with other stray cats
Has to get poked with a needle DAILY to receive subcutaneous fluid therapy according Bedok Island Vet.
Placed on kidney diet & kidney supplements (To manage the subcutaneous)
Unfortunately all the efforts were went to a waste since someone have been feeding it bacon and eggs (And probably other human food)
With your help, we would be able to place Kitty Bear Bear in the vet hospital longer to ease his suffering and pain from the inflammation of the pancreatitis.
Thank you so much :)
