Help keep me housed and fed ’til the end of the year

I'm currently unemployed, and my welfare payments don't even cover my rent. I have bills to pay, medication I need, and groceries to buy.

I live with my boyfriend, and my university is walking distance from my home. Grocery stores, pharmacies, and everything else I need is also conveniently close. There are also a lot more job opportunities here. My new home is perfect, but the one thing I'm lacking is an income.

If I can't afford to stay here, I'll have to move back in with my family. It was an incredibly toxic environment, and damaging to my mental health. I'm recovering from living there for my whole life, the lack of emotional abuse and manipulation in my new environment is still a shock to me. They live 45 minutes (by train or car) away, that's the time it will take for me to get to school or to see my boyfriend. It's a smaller town, and has a lot fewer work opportunities for me. I managed to get to my new home on pretty much luck alone (as well as the support of my boyfriend, who used his savings to cover my portion of the bond). I would do anything to not go back.

I've set this campaign to run until January, that's four months. $500 per month, or $150 per fortnight + $200 to cover monthly bills, should be the bare minimum to keep me secure here. I'm hoping to find employment by then. I start my undergraduate next year, so my status will change to "Student" and change my welfare payments anyway, so we'll see what happens. Thankfully, HECS covers almost all schooling fees, so university shouldn't be an issue. If I find employment and start earning a livable income, I will let you know, and l end this campaign.
