Help Jocie the Wonder Horse!

Jocie was born with a cleft pallet. She was sold to me as 100% healthy and sound. No vet checks ever revealed this condition. She should have never survived past birth. With milk pouring out her nose and feed particles making their way into her lungs, she suffered from aspirated pneumonia. Causing her immune system to become compromised.
She was imported to Canada from a breeder in the USA. Many months of diagnostic tests and lengthy quarantine lead us to the University of Saskatchewan, where the amazing doctors assisted Jocie in multiple surgeries to repair her cleft pallet.

She now is doing well and has started training and is showing great promise in the reining ring.

This page has been started by her owner (me) in an effort to maintain the level of care she needs. I am not looking to get back the over $20,000 in medical bills she has cost us thus far, I am looking for assistance in her ongoing care.

She is the sweetest horse, always wanting pets and trying SO hard in everything she does. She has been through so much so far, and we just don't want to lose her now! Please assist in caring for this amazing creature who has so much will to live, we hope to keep her happy and healthy for years to come!!!
