My name is James Pannell and I am a 4th year medical student in Norwich. I am fundraising to help fund my medical elective to the Kitovu healthcare complex in Uganda from the 20th July - 14th August 2015. Kitovu is a 248 bed mission hospital in the masaka region of Uganda. Whilst I am out there, I will be putting my medical education to use by spending 4 weeks on the wards helping those who are otherwise unable to access healthcare in Uganda. I will be doing a week on each of the medical, surgical, maternity and paediatric wards. I hope that the experience that I gain from this placement will help me to become a more confident and able doctor. I also hope to spread God's word to those who have not had the chance to hear it before. For information about the hospital check out their website here http://www.kitovu-hospital.org/
Any donation whatever the size would be greatly appreciated, as it will help to pay for my flights and accommodation at the hospital.
