Help Heidi Heal

Please help Heidi with an emergency fund so she can focus on healing and get back to her normal self!

Heidi is a mom of 3 grown boys, 1 of 5 sisters, and friend to many. She is a Certified Natural Health Practitioner with a passion for helping others. Shortly after starting a new job in July 2023, Heidi was diagnosed with Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer. Along with traditional natural medicines, she started chemo therapy in August and needs Gynecologic Oncology surgery (Nov 8th), which will require a 3 day (min) hospital stay and 6-8 week (min) recovery period. Follow up chemo treatments will be needed until it has cleared.

Shortly after completing her first 3 rounds of chemo, her employment was terminated without cause. She found herself without a source of income and unable to search for work just 3 weeks before surgery. She has taken all the necessary steps to get medical EI, but needs an emergency fund to help with basic living expenses until she recovers.
