Dumped on Christmas Eve at a high kill shelter by his owners. This is a sad story. Even sadder, 15 month old beagle Hawk was going to be placed immediately on the list for possible euthanasia. Unlike strays who get a 3 day hold period, owner surrenders become vulnerable to euthanasia immediately as no one is looking for them!
BUT, this is where the sad ends and happy begins!
Hawk has been adopted. Mike, a hound lover could not let Hawk die. He fell in love as soon as he saw Hawk's story. Mike just very recently lost his beloved beagle Cooper to cancer. He knew Cooper would be very happy that he was helping a fellow beagle out.
Thanks to Houston rescue RPM !
But, there is a problem...Hawk is in Houston, Texas and his new Dad is in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
- Hawk needs to pay his hotel bill to get out of the shelter
- He needs to pay the Vet that is uh....neutering him (geeez)
- And Dad needs to pay for the flight from Houston to Toronto
Can you help Hawk get to his new life?
Any help would be appreciated...truly
