Like the title says, I got into a car accident. But, that's life, things happen. Good news is that nobody got hurt. The bad news: I'm young and my parents want to try and avoid the insurance - however that works - by paying out of pocket. Even more bad news, out of my pocket. I'm an 18 college student who works part time and I make less than 6,000 a year. I've only been working for three months and that could change at any time. So I have to pay for my car to get fixed and the other person's. Granted they are very minor scratches to the car but it's still going to cost an arm and a leg on top of college costs.
