Help graduates transition from education into the working world!

MISSION

I am on a mission to help graduates transition into the working world.

Too many graduates come of University and find it incredibly challenging. This is either due to the fact they lack the practical skills (for example interviewing or networking) or the emotional challenge (lack of motivation or handling rejections)

Therefore I have created a platform that solves both these problems.

This platform (you can find here) provides graduates with the practical tools and information necessary to understand what they want to do and then secure them job. Secondly, it's a way of graduate job seekers to connect, to keep each other motivated, to practical skills such as networking and interviewing and to make new friends.

MY STORY

When I finished University I came out feeling confused and lost as to what I wanted to do.

I went through a dark time, feeling confused and lost as to what I wanted to do.

I was lucky enough to come across a coaching course which helped me discover my core values, strengths and interests which directed me towards coaching. I came to realise that at not one point during education did anyone help me understand who I am and what kind of career would suit me.

This set me off an a mission to help other graduates do the same. And during that period I realised how much information is lacking and that so many graduates need help.

WHAT THE MONEY WILL BE USED FOR

All I need is help creating the platform. From there on I can use money created by the platform to bootstrap the business and keep evolving forward. If you want to find out what I am looking to create you can find the prototype here. Make sure to use it on a laptop otherwise it will not work. You will be a fictional character called Mia who has certain requirements.

I will hire someone with the funds raised and that's it.
