Help getting me “new” used car

I know that some of you won't see this as a big problem, but please read. I study Medicine and I am an excellent student. I live far from city centre in poor country where I need 80-90 minutes to get to school/hospital. Last summer I worked and bought myself used car, but 2 months ago it died so I can't sell it or fix it. I had worked whole summer (2 months), sometimes even 12 hours a day and I collected 940 €. My parents don't have money to even think of buying me a car. I don't want super sports car but just an average car (such as Golf IV 1.9tdi) which won't let me down in few months.
