Help For Gaza Families

I am appealing to people of conscience who are able to donate to raise funds for needy families on the Gaza Strip, Palestine. I have for many years maintained correspondence with a number of these families, and know well their dire circumstances, and desperate need. Much of Gaza lies in ruins from constant Israeli bombing. The blockade prevents any attempt to rebuild, or import of even basic necessities. Two million people eek out an existence having had the misfortune of being born Palestinian and lived their entire lives under siege. There is no work. There is little hope for survival in this forsaken wasteland without charity, which Israel also limits. I have been sending as much as I have been able with my own resources, but more is needed. Most of the families I have been friends with are young single mothers with small children with no means of support. They are just simple, decent people who want only to survive and care for their children. Please help me to provide rent, food and clothing for them. Whatever you can give is greatly appreciated. They asked me to do this for them, and I could not refuse. I will transfer funds raised to them via PayPal.
