Campaign Story
Syria has been severely impacted by violence and conflict over the last decade - NES / Rojava being no exception - and the recent earthquake in February 2023 only exacerbated the already unstable situation for residents.
Partnering with Kulturvan Organization in the town of Amuda, we'll be serving members of the community and local humanitarian workers in the area.
When you donate...
$20: you provide 2 yoga mats
$60: you pay the monthly salary for a TRY teacher
$80: you help provide 4 full yoga classes in Syria
$100: you provide 1 week of salary for our Class Supervisor, a trained local who will ensure quality control in the field, and report back to our Admin team
$400: you provide the monthly salary for our Class Supervisor
$660: you sponsor our entire team of TRY instructors in NES for 1 month
TRY Global is an international non-profit organization operating in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq and soon in Ukraine and NES. We empower locals to integrate their traumas and support their community members to do so through trauma-informed practices like yoga, meditation and breathwork.
We train locals in the TRY method, mentor them, and place them in paid teaching positions in their community.
