Campaign Story
On June 3rd 2015, torrential rains in the Ghana Capital, Accra, caused major flooding in most part of the city. Rivers and sewage drains overflew their banks and seeped into Electricity transformers which blew up and sparked an avalanche of fires. The fire affected a major gas station where many people has sought refuge from the fast moving flood waters. This also caused the Gas underground to blow up and travel on the flood waters to burn over 150 people to death. Hundreds more sustained serious burns and are still in hospitals recovering.
We are appealing to all and everyone to help these victims pay for their medical expenses especially since most of these people are too poor to afford any paid proper medical care on their own. No amount is too small and any could be worth a life. Thanks you for your help
