Help Fix a Crooked Smile

Hi,

I'm Skyler, from Richards Bay; I am desperately seeking aid in raising the money to fix my front teeth.

I've always had crooked teeth - with a huge gap between the top and bottom - and; unfortunately, my parents havenever had the money to rectify it. Now, going into the real world, its an extremely embarrassing issue. I've managed to find an experienced dentist (rather than an orthodontist) that's willing to carry out the procedure, so it will besignificantly cheaper - however; its still nowhere near anything that I can afford.

Though it may seem like a simple problem to most people - this has had severe repercussions on my life. In addition, I am not, by any stretch, a 'good-looking' - or even average-looking - person. I've been ridiculed relentlessly at school; openly laughed at, I've never been able to smile in a picture, most people I meet think I'm unfriendly or hostile and; recently - I even lost potential job opportunities (because nobody wants to hire a waitress with my smile). NOTE: Anyone who thinks school boys are mean has obviously never been bullied by high school girls!

Regardless, I will soon finish school and probably look for permanent employment (or, if I get a bursary, attend a tertiary institution); and, braces would literally change my life.

I've attached a few pictures of my teeth at present - be warned: It's not a pretty sight. I really hope that anyone that is able, will consider donating to my cause - no matter the amount.
