Help Find My Friends Brother

I am trying to help a friend of mine to find there brother they were both adopted but to different families.

We have managed to locate the birth mother and other siblings through social media but they do not want anything to do with my friend which is such a shame, my friend has been searching for over 15 years and is now aged 53.

The mother also had a son who was adopted back in 1959 which is who we are searshing for, the child was under 12 months old when adopted; we have tried everything to try and locate my friend’s brother but our last hope is now by going through intermediary agencies i.e. after adoption.

We have searched online high and low for other ways to help but this seems to be the only chance and option we have left.

I have contacted Lal Ashby (intermediary agencies) who is a lady who specialises in this sector and is Ofsted registered who believes she may be able to help but of course comes at a cost and unfortunately we do not have this kind of money which is such a shame as it seems this is the last and final hope.

"The fees would be £900 to cover the regulatory stage and fees at the GRO,
and searching costs. Then there will be a further £900 for the purchasing
of certificates (adoption info) and Intermediary activities. These fees
include all the certificates and fees, and communication costs – and
includes VAT. The fee is the same even if he is overseas."

I have decided to set up this page to see if there is anyone out there that would be willing to help and donate no matter how small it would be greatly appreciated!
