Hi everyone, Ibrahim Abu Taima is desperate to save his family and evacuate them into Egypt.

Ibrahim’s wife and five (5) children are trapped in Gaza, unable to escape to Egypt without paying a very large fee. Together, we can raise the funds needed to evacuate his precious family and provide them with a chance at survival and a better life. Every contribution, no matter how small, brings them closer to reuniting and rebuilding their lives.

“My name is Ibrahim, and I'm reaching out to you in a time of desperate need. I have five precious children between the ages of 9-18, and a loving wife, Suhail, and we used to call a Gulf country our home. But when financial burdens became too heavy to bear, I had no choice but to send them to Gaza, where our house lay demolished.

Now, they live in a makeshift tent, exposed to the rain and extreme cold, after previously seeking refuge in an UNRWA school for many months, enduring harsh conditions and trapped in a cycle of uncertainty. I fear for their lives every moment they remain in Gaza, threatened by starvation and Israel’s constant attacks. But I refuse to lose hope. I long to rebuild our shattered home or secure a new one where my children can thrive in peace.

An opportunity has arisen to bring my family to safety, but financial barriers stand in our way. According to the broker, to evacuate my family out of the Gaza Strip, obtain passport replacements in Cairo, obtain temporary shelter, and reside for three months until passports are issued, we will need £55,000.

وهم يعيشون الآن في خيمة مؤقتة، معرضين للمطر والبرد الشديد، بعد أن لجأوا في السابق إلى إحدى مدارس الأونروا لعدة أشهر، ويتحملون ظروفًا قاسية ويظلون عالقين في دائرة من عدم اليقين. إنني أخشى على حياتهم في كل لحظة يبقونها في غزة، مهددين بالمجاعة والهجمات الإسرائيلية المستمرة. لكنني أرفض أن أتخلى عن الأمل. أتوق إلى إعادة بناء منزلنا المدمر أو تأمين منزل جديد حيث يمكن لأطفالي أن يعيشوا بسلام.

لقد سنحت لي الفرصة لجلب عائلتي إلى بر الأمان، لكن العوائق المالية تقف في طريقنا. وفقًا للوسيط، لإجلاء عائلتي من قطاع غزة، والحصول على استبدال جواز السفر في القاهرة، والحصول على مأوى مؤقت، والإقامة لمدة ثلاثة أشهر حتى إصدار جواز السفر، سنحتاج إلى 55000 جنيه إسترليني.
