Campaign Story
My good friend Dave Long lost his backpack on the bus in Salzburg coming back home late in the day, juggling a tired 9 month old, and a stroller with no brake. He lost his only camera, all of his lenses & a flash unit.
After calling every relevant office and talking to every bus driver on the route, he has come to terms with the bag and all its contents being gone for good. He was hoping for a miracle, but it didn't come...so let's give him one!
This could happen to any of us and it really sucks that it happened to Dave. Let's show him the world is not such a shitty place, filled with rotten bastards. Let's help him get his photography life back (NO ONE takes more pictures than Dave). As a contributor to iStock, photography is also part of his livelihood and income.
Please help out with whatever amount you can...if there is one person in the world who would truly appreciate it, it's Dave.

You need to keep taking kick ass photogs. Hope all is well (aside from this fiasco - but remember its all material stuff and in the big picture (pun intended), its just a speedbump.) Hope to see you both and meet Gentian soon!

Sorry I haven't commented yet. Still don't even really know what to say other than THANK YOU all so much. As much as the money will help, just the idea that anyone would even consider helping out means so much to both Luljeta and me. It's been one of those weeks that has truly tested my limits (so much more going on than just the camera), but friends like you all really do make hard times easier to deal with. So again THANK YOU.
