Chloe is my beautiful 5 Year Old daughter. She has Autism. As does her brother Sean, who is now 8 years old.

Sean has managed to get into a public funded school (after being on the waiting list for about 3 years), And now gets regular therapy as part of his curriculum.

Chloe has not been so lucky. Firstly, in South Africa, more and more children are being diagnosed with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder). May are parents like us, that do not have access to private medical care and pricate therapists etc. Because of this, Chloe attends therapy once every 6 weeks as opposed to about 3 times a week. She is non-verbal, has a very short attention span and just all round, behind in her communicative and behavioral goals.

As a parent, my heart breaks that i literally cannot afford private therapy for my daughter, as here it will cost about R1500 (about $106) per month for her to see a private therapist (this is just a behavioral therapist, this is excluding speech and occupational therapy).

My goal for now is too assist with improving her attention span, so that she can take in more from her other (if limited) therapy, at least i am at a point where i can afford other private avenues.

We have no friends or family who are in a position to help financially. This is a very desperate plea but one i will pledge to help my little angel.

Please help me to help her.
