Help Children at Phelisanong Center

My name is Nele from Germany. I graduated from high school this year and I am volunteering in Lesotho (Africa) since September 2019 at Phelisanong Children Centre.

First I want to explain the project: Phelisanong (http://www.phelisanong.org) www.facebook.com/phelisanong is located in the north of Lesotho, more precisely in Pitseng. This is a community-based organisation founded in 2001. The centre offers a home, a family and a community for people with various mental and physical disabilities, HIV/AIDS, albinism and other chronic diseases as well as orphans. The centre provides education, counselling and support to empower individuals and combat stigmatization and discrimination. As a volunteer is helping in the kitchen, administrate the library and on weekends also I take care of the orphans. With the help of your donation, we have the opportunity to build a borehole (which is very important for the centre that we have running water), to buy more various food, to get solar energy to boil water easily for cooking, drinking and washing.
As compensation to your donation, you get pictures and reports of the changes in Phelisanong.
