My Name is Cherokee Washington and I am seeking your help with my goal of becoming an elite college athlete. In pursuit of my goal to play collegiate sports, I was fortunate enough to be invited to play with the TCA Volleyball Club team, a premiere club based in Southern California. My selection to the TCA club is an extraordinary opportunity that allows me to compete on a high competitive level and gain nationwide exposure.
We have recently been invited to compete in the Las Vegas Senior Showcase and Classic volleyball tournament this February. In exchange for the privilege to play I must fundraise for the sum of $725. I am very hopeful that you will be able to assist me in achieving this goal.
I eat, sleep and drink volleyball every day. My love of the sport, hard work and, perseverance have fueled my desire to ultimately reach the goal of earning a position on a collegiate team (earning an athletic scholarship to a top university). I have worked earnestly towards this goal. All of the personal income I earned from my paid internship and bookings as a henna artist has gone towards my club fees for this season ($2,500). Top universities have reviewed my game videos, and contacted me to find out where they can see me play live. I am asking for your help in the next step towards the pursuit of my dream.
Trip Details
We arrive in Las Vegas on February 15th, that evening I will (demonstate my skill) in an arena where over 250 college recruiters will evaluate me. We will play competitive matches for 3-days against Nationally ranked club teams from all over the U.S. in front of college head coaches and scouts.
The total cost of the trip (flight, hotel, & meals, entry fees) is about $725 for me. The airfare prices have been dropping, so I hope to book my flight soon.

Group Volleyball Lesson and Beach Workout!!! Team up with a partner or group of 4-6 people to learn how to play a fun game of beach volleyball and a workout designed for elite athletes like you!
Henna Body Art Party!!! I will provide Mehndi, traditional henna art design at a special gathering (team bonding, spa day, birthday celebration, bridal shower) for you and 15 of your friends.
