Help Catherine with a life changing opportunity

Hi I am Catherine Chitiyo. Last year when Women's University in Africa offered me a place to study Social Work , a four year degree. I was ecstatic. It was a bitter sweet for me however because I knew there was no money for fees. I accepted the offer and started asking around for donations and sponsors. I managed to get a donation for the registration fee and deposit and I have been enjoying the course and working very hard since starting in September 2020.

Sadly, my dream od becoming a social worker will all come to a painful abrupt end because of no funds.

I come from a small remote village called Chitiyo village, Bocha in the eastern part of Zimbabwe. Both my parents are unemployed and they struggle to make ends meet for my siblings and I. They could not afford to put me through school. As a result I put myself through high school by working as a maid for one of my teachers and I used the money to pay for my fees. I worked hard and I obtained one A and two Bs for my A' levels. My dream is to break the chain of poverty in my family. Once I qualify, I will make sure to uplift and support the education of my siblings and other children from my village because I know and I understand the struggle.

As much as I have this dream it is not looking promising right now. I am turning to this platform to raise money for fees because I will not be able to carry on with my studies due to lack of funds for fees. I will use the $5 500 to pay for the tuition fees for my four years of study. I will continue working as a maid for my former teacher and I will use that money for transport, text books, stationary, printing and projects. I am absolutely in love with my course and it has been my dream since I was 16 years old.
