Hi my name is Chiara and I am volunteering at a primary school in Watamu, Kenya this month.
I would love you to help support the children and teachers at Bluebells School in the small village of Watamu in Kenya’s coastal region.
Bluebells is a school that runs off of donations from the public to provide education to children whose families cannot afford the school fees for public schools which are as low as 30 USD per term. The school has been running for the past 5 years and has grown from 13 students to 150!
The children are between 3 to 15 years old and depend heavily on the school. They are provided with breakfast & lunch at the school, which for most of the children will be the only food they get all day. Hence it is crucial that Bluebells can access enough food and water for all the children.
Since Bluebells is rapidly growing they are looking to raise funds to build an additional classroom so that new children can join them in the next term. The cost for the additional classroom is 3’000 USD which is a lot of money in Kenya.
I would like to collect donations to support them with building the additional classroom which they require as well as with providing them with food and school materials.

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far! We have managed to collect enough funds to start building the new classroom as well as get the students their own English and maths workbook and we got food supplies for the school. We will keep the fundraising running since we
