Help Bret pay the Vet

Bret was found as a puppy, only ten days old about five years ago in a garbage container in Šibenik with three other puppies. He was bottle fed and nursed with much love and care. The three were happily adopted, but he remained in foster care until now. Due to certain behavioral problems we were unable to find people who could devote themselves to him in proper way.

Unfortunately, last month another much bigger problem occured: a CT scan revealed a tumor in the right pelvic bone which seems to have eaten the pelvic bone and is pressing on the large intestine. It is about 12 x 9 cm in diameter. A malignant tumor is suspected, however the biopsy results didn't show what kind due to an imperfect cell sample. After consultations at several animal clinics in Croatia and abroad (such as Postojna in Slovenia and Veterinary Faculty at Zagreb University) based on CT scans, the vets either don't suggest to operate in this case or are suggesting a leg and pelvis amputation with the possibility of later radiation. The operation is presented as highly risky . We want to save his life but we also don't want to torture him. Now he is taking CBD oil for more than a month and it seems to be helping at least with the pain. He must eat soft cooked homemade food, of natural organic origin and more meat. He must also take some supplements that help with this condition. Bret needs help with covering current expenses, vet bills, special food, transportation costs etc.

The foster lady has no other means then to provide him home, attention, much love and our organization is collecting donations for expenses already made at veterinary stations and some therapy (CBD oil). All the bills will be presented publicly . If anyone thinks they can help with advice or with sharing what they learned through a similar experience with their dog, please contact us.

First of all we want to try to save Bret, that's the priority. We don't want to stress him unnecessarily and to torture him because the dogs cannot understand why is something happening. We want to make his life as easy as possible.
