Help Bingo Recover from Hit and Run

On 11th Jan 2023 (Wednesday), my sister and two dogs were involved in a hit-and-run at the junction of New Loyang Link at 11.30 PM. She was midway across the road on a green when the driver of a BMW collided into them without stopping. They were only 2 crossings away from home. My sister fell onto the ground upon impact. My sister sustained cuts and bruises & has severe head & neck pain. Robbie thankfully is safe. He came loose and ran all the way home to seek help. Bingo took the brunt of the hit and was dragged under the car.

He is now in the hospital for

1. a broken arm that was fractured into 3 pieces

2. a badly dislocated hip

3. a fractured tailbone that damaged his nerve

4. severe open skin lesions on his butt

He requires major surgery for his arm and hip. His fractured tailbone cannot be fixed through surgery. Bingo has undergone surgery for his arm. It was a complex 3-hour-long surgery because of his bone fragments. He had to get implants and metal screws in his arm. Soon, he will have to undergo a total hip replacement. He will have to undergo long-term rehabilitation for his arm and leg. He also has lost the ability to contract his anus as a result of the nerve damage and will have fecal incontinence. Bingo is only 1.

His vet bills are estimated to cost SGD50,800. Below is a breakdown of the estimates.

We are fundraising as we are of the POV that Singapore's law does not protect pets and we do not believe we will be able to get justice for Bingo's hefty medical injuries. We are hoping you can help us give Bingo an opportunity to regain his mobility to become the active, playful dog he once was before this atrocious act of cruelty.
