Help Billy with his surgery

Hi my name is Kali and I am Billy's mom. Billy has been my one and only baby for 12yrs, I saved him at 5months old from a pet store at a mall and hes been my lil boy ever since. For the past 4yrs Billy has had issues with his back, his legs and walking. I've had to try and put an end to him jumping off the couch and anything high at all due to it's not good for his legs it his back issues. Well now that he is getting older his back is getting worse. After a recent visit to his vet after several days of him whimpering and walking crooked , the vet took exrays and an MRI, that itself was very expensive and I am not qualified for the care credit , Billy now has to have surgery due to him having Ivdd...I wasnt too familiar with what this is until I researched and the vet helped me understand more about it. I can not and will not let my poor boy go through anymore pain with his disc and whimpering while walking. I hate to ask but Billy is my life, my best friend as hes been there for me through everything the past 12yrs, I am praying and hoping for help from anyone that understands I do not want to lose my best friend. The surgery is going to cost around $6,000 which I def. Do not have, as I just had a baby 7 months ago. But Billy will always be my number one baby.
