Campaign Story
Arlo was diagnosed in December of 2015 with Stage 4 hepatoblastoma, a rare and aggressive liver cancer. The cancer had spread to his lungs requiring surgery and chemo. In May 2016, Arlo received a liver transplant at Cincinnati Children's Hospital and also still has follow up there as well as at Children's in Wauwatosa. Unfortunately it was discovered that Arlo's cancer has relapsed. He has cancer in one of his lungs again and will require surgery in Cincinnati and chemo in Wauwatosa. He has amazing doctors who specialize in his cancer. His Mom had to stop working to care for him full time...lots of medications and medical appointments. His Dad doesn't receive paid family leave. At a time like this they want to both be with Arlo when he is recovering from surgery. Grandparents are once again going to care for Arlo's brother so Mom and Dad can be out of state. Please consider donating to help with Arlo's medical expenses. It's one way we can all help relieve some of their stress.
