Help Annie the Westie

Annie is a good and loving 8 month old Westie with a sweet personality. She is so funny and shows her happiness by wagging not just her tail but her whole body. She does do some silly things and really makes me laugh. Unfortunately, Annie has had a rough start in life. The day after I picked up Annie, she started having terrible diarrhea. It turned out to be Giardia and Coccydiosis. After 3 rounds of medication, the parasites were finally gone. Then the other day she began limping. I took her to the veterinarian, they did xrays. My sweet little girl Annie has been diagnosed with Legg-Calve'-Perthes Disease of both legs/hips, which is a disease of the head of the femoral bone that attaches to the hip. The head of the femur does not get the blood supply that it needs so it dies. The necrotic (dead) bone must be removed to prevent the bone from collapsing and doing further damage to the hip area. She will be able to live and play as a normal dog after the surgeries.
