Help Angela Finish College

Coming from a family of underprivileged farmers in the Philippines, student Angela who is studying at a local State University taking Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education is struggling greatly with the learning modality and to comply with their research requirement as she starts her final year in College. She doesn't have a working desktop computer or laptop nor a printer, and other printing supplies for her thesis. She also lives in an area inaccessible to the internet that makes researching and conducting survey harder. Angela is working as help in other households to support her schooling, but with her daily needs as well as sharing to her family what little she earns, she is not earning enough for her schools needs especially the thesis paper that they need to start working on. Living in a rural area, particularly in a small town with farmers earning not even enough to cover their daily necessities, her family cannot cover for her school needs. Scholarship opportunities in town is also slim, and she lost the only scholarship aid she had due to lack of communication resulting to her being unable to send application because no one informed her how the application process works.

Angela is also a PWD, she’s crossed eyes since birth and cannot afford the surgery to correct her eyes. She also haven’t seen an eye doctor in her life to check on her eye condition and has no correct prescription glasses to help her eyesight. It would also be very helpful to her if she can get checked by a professional and if required, get an eyeglasses fit for her.

We are humbly seeking for your help for Angela, a daughter of a farmer struggling to graduate in this time of difficulties. Farmers here in the Philippines do not earn much, and students like Angela are forced to find their way in order to support their education. Your support would mean everything to her, as they wish to graduate from college and hope that it would be one step closer to their dreams of a better life situation.
