Help A Trans Activist Rebuild Her Life.

Hi my name is Niambi E Stanley. I am a black transwoman who's been in transition for the last 29 years, deciding to live in my truth at 14 years old, have been a prominent figure in the LGBTQ ballroom community for just as long, and for the last four years I have dedicated my life to the equity, equality, and basic human rights of transgender people. I own several businesses and a few non profit organizations. As a black trans woman, opportunities aren't readily available for women like me, so I now am the creator of opportunities for my community using only my voice to create change. I come to you all very humbled to say I have exhausted everything where I am facing homelessness, loss of my businesses and non profits, things I have worked so extremely hard to build. Im so far in debt and I can't seem to dig my way out. I have been in my place 12 years taking care of my mother and see that's the thing. I have always been a caretaker of people, the matriarch, the one that folks can always rely on. I'm mentally, physically, and emotionally drained. I host a weekly talk show called TransTalkTuesday that I have hosted for the last 3 years. I have several speaking engagements coming up, I also run an online clothing store and I'm scared to death that not only will I have to give all of that up but where I am has gotten so expensive I simply cannot afford it anymore on a fixed income. I realize because of Covid-19 that everyone in some way is struggling, but for those who are not, could you find it in your heart to help someone who prides themselves in being there for everyone else and now is asking for help.
