Help a struggling family get a reliable car

Hi my name is Jeremy, My wife and I are doing our best at raising our 4 year old son, we are a young couple that don't have much help and it has been a constant struggle. Normally I would never ask for any hand outs, it just not my character, both my wife and I work very hard. But lately we have fallen on real tuff times do to my work being very spotty over the last year we have dwindled threw our savings and are being forced to move to a much smaller living situation. My vehicle was stolen 3 months ago and my wife's car is constantly breaking down and is almost on its last mile. Every day we are worried if it does break down we don't know what we are gonna do. We have been trying to save for sometime now to get a reliable car for our family but have not been able to, between having to move and the one car we do have constantly breaking it has been impossible to save money.
