This campaign is made for helping a poor family from a rural area in Oituz, Romania. The family is made up of 8 members, Father, Mother and 6 kids. Three kids are living with parents whose ages are 3, 7 and 8, and three of them are living in the Association COPIII IN SANUL FAMILIEI.
Five of the family members are sharing one room of some few meters in miserable conditions, all the furnitures are old, dusty and dirty, the room has no water, they have to carry the water from the well fountain which is not too close to their house, and no electricity as well.
The family has only one sofa and some armchairs where they can sleep.
With the collected money we plan to rebuild their place:
- Fix and paint the walls
- buy bunk beds for the kids because of the tiny space in the room.
- to change the windows
- to repair the floor
- to buy new furniture (wardrobe, mirror, bed, table, chairs)
- to connect to the electricity
- to buy new clothes for the kids
- bedsheets, pillows, blankets and covers
- Initialization and equipping the kitchen
This campaign will improve the life of a helpless family and change their life completely, the kids can live in a clean Livable room making them able to have a life that every human deserves, all of this is possible with your help.
This fundraising is organized by the association ASOCIATIA COPIII IN SANUL FAMILIEI/ FRIENDS OF CHILDREN IN ROMANIA legally registered under CUI: 6600535
Address: Str Principala nr 220, Harja, com Oituz, jud Bacau, Romania, 607368About the association:
FCR was founded by an Englishwoman, Mary Gibson, a mother and grandmother herself, who was so disturbed by the images that came out of Romanian orphanages after the 1989 revolution that she flew there to help, initially raising funds and sending out workers, eventually setting up the FCR project to give these children love and a family life. Most of the FCR directors have a history of involvement with Romania and an awareness of the tragic background to the children’s lives: Romanian-born Sherban Cantacuzino, architect and founder of Pro Patrimonio, Romania’s National Trust, Olivia Tatton-Brown, an educational psychologist; and Brigadier Michael Evans (treasurer).
While România it’s not a supported country on the platform, the Fundraising it will be operated by Andrei Paul Aparaschivei who will deliver the funds to the association COPIII IN SANUL FAMILIEI/ FRIENDS OF CHILDREN IN ROMANIA.
