Hello everyone. My name is Alex and my father is Pedro. My dad is a retired U.S. citizen living in Texas, who should be relaxing and enjoying his retirement, but instead, he is working to help support his grandkids that have had to relocate to Guatemala after their father, (Pedro's son), was deported three years ago. The issue is that Pedro has been losing his hearing in both ears for quite some time. He is now at a point where he can no longer hear when talking on the phone. Santos, his wife, must elevate her voice and repeat what was said to him during any given conversation - due to his lack of hearing aids.

The money we are raising is to purchase a set of internal hearing aids so that once again, he can hear the voice of his son whom he has not seen in years and those of his grandkids, who he cannot hear clearly anymore. I pray that there are people out there, who will have compassion and understanding of how difficult and heart breaking his situation is. Losing your grandchildren and not being able to hug and hold them is difficult enough, but in addition to this, my father is now losing his hearing and cannot even enjoy a simple conversation with his loved ones over the phone or computer. Thank you all for reading this and sharing it with all whom may be willing to help Pedro. Please help us, to help this wonderful grandpa that to this day, is sacrificing himself and his own needs for those of his son and grandsons, while not being able to completely hear their voices.
