Help 3 women groups with materials for sewing pads

Summary

After receiving training on sustainable menstruation management, 90 women formed 3 groups to help train other women and school children in menstruation management and especially sewing pads, these women move around schools and villages training voluntarily, this project will buy them training materials which include needles, towels, soft polythene, threads and other materials to ease their work.

Challenge

During Monitoring and Evaluation of sanitary pad project we carried out last summer, 3 groups of women have formed associations to help train fellow women and school girls on how to manage menstruation as well as sew their own pads, unfortunately the groups can not afford materials used for the training's, yet we have realized that when the community does it itself, great impact is realized

Solution

This project will supply the three groups with training materials to enable them carry out training in their own communities

Long-Term Impact

These are groups started by the communities themselves, Mountains of Hope will continue building their capacities in training, communication and record keeping
