Hello! Help me finish my PhD.

Hello!

My name is Khairul. You can call me K. I'm a PhD candidate currently in my 10th semester. My field is physiology and nutrition of horticultural crops. I lost my job and scholarship two years ago because I was unfairly dismissed by my former employer. As a result, I am currently facing a lawsuit from my former employer and scholarship giver for failing to complete my studies, which is NOT TRUE. I have made an appeal and still awaiting decision. Because of that, I have been suffering from psychotic disorder and depression, and I'm seeing a psychiatrist for psychotherapy and medication. Thankfully, I am recovering.

Despite all the shortcomings, I am determined to finish my PhD and get a job in academia and research. To fund my studies, I work part-time as a home tutor at night. My parents help me pay my tuition fees and living expenses. I am from a middle class family. My dad is 61 years old and retired, and my mum is a housewife. I am thankful to my parents for supporting my dream and always encouraging me.

I am pleading your kindness and generosity. I do a have small grant to fund my research. But I need extra funding for my analyses. I want to analyse the gas exchange and phytochemicals in my plant. I am also working in histology. I need some money to buy chemicals, consumables and for sample analyses using special instruments like LI-6800 Portable Photosynthesis System (RM1500 per day), Ultra Fast Liquid Chromatography (RM100 per injection), and I also need to purchase ELISA assay kits (RM4000) . I got a 4.0 for my studies and I am good at statistical analysis. I have also started writing my dissertation. I want to finish my studies by November next year. During my Masters, I was a recipient of the Graduate Research Fellowship scheme.

I really aspire to become an academic in my field. Please help me achieve my dreams. I will be eternally grateful for your support. Cheers and God Bless!
