Hear with Hailey
Hailey Libunao is a very sweet and joyful baby girl. At 8 months old, she was diagnosed with Epilepsy. This was a sad news for Hailey’s family, especially for Hailey’s mother who is raising her all by herself.
Nevertheless, with some help, Hailey’s mother managed to provide the medicines for Hailey’s condition. Unfortunately, the challenges did not stop there.
At a young age of 1 year old, Hailey was diagnosed with severe/profound hearing loss on both ears (bilateral). As per her audiologist, Hailey’s only chance of ever hearing is a costly and complicated cochlear implant surgery.
The total cost of a cochlear implant can range from 2 Million to 2.4 Million pesos (Bilateral) excluding therapy and other related expenses. These are very costly and overwhelming for Hailey’s mom. Especially, in these trying times.
We started this campaign in the hopes that we will be able to reach kindhearted people who can help our Baby Hailey.
