Campaign Story
Hello Everyone
Many people were following my previous fundraising campaign. We didn't reach our goal but there is some great news: we have since acquired 2 pieces of equipment we desperately needed, and with any luck, we may be able to repair some old equipment which will help enormously! So for that, I am eternally grateful!
My brother is still fighting every day and we still need as much help as we can get to afford him a better shot at some quality of life.
I would like to source some expensive feeding solutions to feed through his stomach tube (using newly acquired equipment!) This will hopefully lead to some much-needed weight gain which should allow for more energy to be available for his body to keep fighting the good fight.
For some background:
My brother Kyle has Cystic Fibrosis; which is a life-threatening illness that severely damages the lungs, digestive system, and other organs. He is currently on oxygen 24/7 and his health has declined a lot in the last few years.
In the past when his condition would deteriorate he would be admitted to a government-run hospital. The hospital that used to help us can no longer do so. Specialized medical care in South Africa is not readily available without expensive medical cover/insurance that we can't afford for the time being. Things have begun to look up so we are not without hope but time is not on our side, and on that note, I'm here to ask for your continued support.
Again, a HUGE thank you to everyone that has been so supportive and amazing on this journey so far! <3
